Thermowood At Nanak Furnishers (P) Ltd., we only source our Thermowood products from the licensed members of the Thermowood Association, which ensures the certified processes, machinery & infrastructure is used to produce Thermowood.The manufacturing process of the Thermo wood takes place in the special computer-controlled Kiln & is based on the use of high temperature (190-215 degrees Celsius) & steam, no chemicals are added.The Thermo process contains three phases:

Heating: by slowly adding heat, the moisture content of the wood reduces to 0%
Thermo treatment: the wood is heated upto 190-215 degrees Celsius at the peak temperature for 2-3hours
Cooling: The wood is cooled down & re moisture to bring it to the appropriate moisture level for the end use (5-7%)

ThermoWood® is a wood material produced by using natural methods, heat and steam. Thermal modification improves the wood’s technical properties and ThermoWood is non-toxic, dimensionally stable, resistant to decay and resin free. It can be used inside or outdoors, in any climate.
